The Frame:

  • It is made of two brackets and a top crosstie.
  • Every bracket includes the vertical rail and one of the balancing counterweights.
  • The suspension systems are made with 08B1 steel chains, break resistance 180kg.
  • They are the link between the counterweights and the anti-tilt brackets.
  • The main axis, which receives the bevel gears, is set on six AA bearings, allowing a good distribution of the strength.

The Door Leaf:

It is made of a frame reinforced by one or several middle crossties.

All of it is made with rectangular tubes from different sections, depending on the dimensions of the door leaf.

The casing of the door leaf is made with ribbed steel sheet installed vertically or horizontally, pre-lacquered with the color RAL 9002, or on demand:

  • With flat steel sheet, thickness 15 or 20/10th
  • With hollow joint coffers
  • With wood (variety to decide)
  • With bars
  • Diamond-shaped
  • Or other possibilities, alterations on demand, including full glass pane.

Weight of the frame and casing together limited to 150kg.
The limit size of the door leaf is 12m2 with a maximum passing height of 2500mm.
The bottom guide rollers are set on the link pins located between the anti-tilt brackets and the casing.
The top guide rollers are made with self-lubricating material and guided by V-shaped rails, holding the door leaf centered throughout the whole process. CE conformity following the EN 13241-1 norm.

The Automation:

An « MCE 4 » control cabinet ensures :

  • The recording of the inside and outside opening orders
  • The automatic closing once the vehicle has gone through the door
  • The power supply for the permanent lighting
  • The power supply for the green and red traffic lights
  • The power supply for the pre-signaling
  • The parking timer switch
  • The alarm or tele surveillance forwarding
  • The engine operation delay
  • The maximal opening time
  • The control of the securities and end positions

The Motorization:

It is ensured by a differential gear motor attached to the center of the top crosstie.
The motion of the door leaf is provided simultaneously by a trolley that is picked up in the center of the panel middle part and by the motorization of the bevel gears lifting the door leaf by its bottom part.
The closing locking is provided by the trolley, which demands little effort from the mechanics and results in a strong blocking.
The limitation of effort and speed is ensured by the inner electronics of the motor. The latter allows a quiet functioning with a progressive acceleration and deceleration to avoid any jolt.
This motorization is made for extensive use.

The Security:

It is ensured by:

  • A flexible section in the bottom part of the door leaf, compression 50mm.
  • An inside cell detector placed 15cm from the floor, as close as possible to the door leaf, for presence detection.
  • An outside cell detector placed 40cm from the floor for presence detection and to control the vehicles going in and out.
  • The manual start is automatic if the end position is not reached or in the event of an emergency stop or lack of tension.
  • A detection system for unusual force used on the panel.

The Signaling:

It is ensured by:

  • A pre-signaling by orange LED flashing lights
  • A signaling by inside and outside green and red LED lights (on demand)
  • A permanent lighting of the door clearance area by 75W inside and outside portholes
  • A floor painting of the door clearance area (on demand, mandatory in France)
